About the camp

3D Print Camp is made by Fjord Labs, a small maker company in Sweden. We design, print, and sell 3D printed products — which means our printers run nearly every day, and we've made every mistake this site helps you avoid.

The camp exists because starting out is harder than it should be. The machines got friendly; the advice didn't. When a print fails at 2am, the answers are buried in decade-old forum threads, jargon-heavy wikis, and manufacturer blogs that mostly want to sell you their next machine.

So we're building the resource we wish we'd had: interactive tools instead of walls of text, plain language instead of jargon, and honest advice that doesn't depend on which printer you bought.

The site is free. It earns its keep through clearly marked affiliate links and, eventually, our own printable model files — never through paywalled advice. See the affiliate disclosurefor the details.
